For example today the PALM PILOT of yesterday a PDA; has been taken over by very intelligent cell phones that act as everything from a CAMERA; GPS SYSTEM; and GOSSIP line; but also technical uses are in a cell phone today that once were in the PALM of your hand using a strangely unique shorthand instead of a QWERTY key pattern.
What is next? I am not a prophet but as you can see things are smaller; greater speed; storage and also at times driven by a FAD only; with no long term use. Personally; I believe that "TWEETING" will go the way of a BETA and or PRODIGY of old which were "forever" in their day. The systems of IT continually MATURE. That is what I LOVE ABOUT THE FIELD.
