Networks

Over 300 courses prepared, written and taught as both a professor and department chair in various modalities; and delivery models from the introductory to graduate level courses. Prepared by the Academy to deliver, evaluate and write courses at the Doctoral level as well.  It only takes TWO computers to make a network; although that is rarely the case anymore; except in either very highly secured systems; or a local area network requiring no access to the internet or other users. This page is built on a CLOSED network similar to that.

Network technology is on a constant change rate that makes the ANSI standards of databases seem like a snail or turtle racing a hare.

Many can remember the dial up networks, then digital age; from the analog signals of the home phone-modem. Today, one is limited by security and the range of a Wi-Fi networks range to reach any other network to which they have SECURITY ACCESS. The changes in this systems SPEED has not however changed the value of PERMISSION/ACCESS; some done by ID CARD; or computer access cards; others done by passwords; biometric (EYE OR FINGER PRINTS).

In short a network is STILL a HAND SHAKE BETWEEN 2 or more computers in some manner; the change is mainly in HOW; or HOW FAST the hand shake occurs.
